Keyboard: IFCIMPORT

Imports a Building Information Modeling (BIM) file in the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) format. This format is commonly used by BIM programs and provides interoperability between different software applications.

Importing an .ifc file creates separate entities for each item in the source file and converts those items to AEC entities where possible.

In the Import IFC File dialog box, choose the file that you want to import. In the IFC Import Options dialog box that displays, make your selections and click OK.

Specify insertion point: Select an insertion point in the drawing.

Specify scale factor or [Unit] <1.0000> Enter the scale or specify the drawing units type in which to insert the .ifc file, then press Enter.

Specify rotation <0>: Enter the rotation to use for the insertion, then press Enter.
