(trans point from to [flag])

Translate that point from one coordinate system to another.

This function translates (moves) a point from one to another coordinate system.

The point argument is a 3-D point in list format. The meaning of this argument depends on the setting of flag.

  • The from argument describes the current coordinate system:
Code Coordinate system
0 World coordinate system (WCS).
1 Current user-defined coordinate system (UCS).
2 Display coordinate system ( DCS) of current viewport-with code 0 or 1
DCS of current model space viewport-with code 3.
3 Paper space DCS.

  • The to argument describes the destination coordinate system, using the same codes as the argument from.
  • The flag argument determines the meaning of point:

Flag Meaning
T 3D displacement.
nil 3D point.
