Getting drawing information
progeCAD stores accurate, detailed information about all the entities in a drawing. You can get details about an existing drawing and its entities using the tools for measuring distances and calculating areas. You can create a table or external file that reports details about entities in one or more drawings. You can also track the amount of time you spend editing a drawing. This section explains how to:
Measure distances along an entity.
Measure distances and angles.
Divide an entity into a number of equal segments.
Calculate areas.
Display information about entities in a drawing.
Track the amount of time spent editing a drawing.

Many of the functions described in this section require that you set progeCAD to the Advanced experience level.
