Moving entities between spaces

You can move entities from model space to paper space or from paper space to model space. You must be viewing a Layout tab that has at least one layout viewport in order to move entities between spaces. You can also copy entities between spaces using the same Change Space command.

To move entities between spaces

   1   Click a Layout tab.

   2   Select the entities you want to move.

   3   Do one of the following to choose ():  

•    Select Change Space from the ribbon or the menu.

•    On the Modify toolbar, click the Change Space tool.

•    Type chspace and then press Enter.

   4   Choose Move.
